I just met someone who wants to invest with me. I have started taking the steps to show a pre-existing substantial relationship. Although I think it might be better to have her as a general partner because she has a lot of relationships with investors. she does not want to be too involved in the manager side of the property, is it enough to have her involved with the underwriting, financials, and business side of things without her being too involved with fixing toilets and screening tenants, and answering their calls? what level of involvement would keep her considered active?
